Head Brewer Director - Microbrasserie Chelsea & Co
Microbrasserie Chelsea & Co is looking for an autonomous, versatile, passionate, and skilled Head Brewer / Director with proven leadership to help us complete the integration of our Ekos ERP system — from raw material entries, inventory tracking, fermentation monitoring, and quality control, to production scheduling. This role will also be central in finalizing the automation of our brewhouse, improving processes, and driving continuous evaluation and optimization.
And because creativity is at the heart of our brewery, the successful candidate will also be expected to develop new beers, experiment continuously, and innovate, while maintaining the highest standards of consistency and quality.
Here, quality and the joy of brewing come before volume. We stay rigorous and focused on optimization, but without squeezing the team dry.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, brew, and supervise all operations on our fully automated 1800 L system
- Manage 8 fermenters (3600 L and 7200 L), kegging and canning
- Oversee yeast propagation, viability testing, and microbiological monitoring (HLP, etc.)
- Strategic inventory and supplier management, production planning and scheduling
- Complete and optimize Ekos ERP implementation across brewing operations
- Drive process optimization, automation, and yield improvement at every step
- Ensure rigorous quality control from grain crush to packaging
- Develop new beers, lead experimentation and innovation in recipes and processes
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, taproom, admin)
- Foster a culture of teamwork, proactivity, and continuous improvement
