Wild North Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery located in Creston, BC, in the heart of the Kootenays on the unceded territory of the Ktunaxa Nation. We brew high-quality, approachable beer, and operate a warm, welcoming taproom where connection, community, and creativity thrive.

We’re growing our brewing capacity, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to get involved, bring ideas to the table, and help shape what’s next at Wild North. We’re currently looking for a Full-Time Brewer who can operate independently and manage the brewing process from grain to glass. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with professional experience who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Brewing and managing all stages of the brewing process using our system
  • Monitoring fermentations and performing cellar duties (yeast handling, dry hopping, temperature management)
  • Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, lines, and brewing equipment
  • Carbonation and packaging (kegging, canning, labelling)
  • Maintaining accurate brewing and fermentation records
  • Managing inventory of raw materials and communicating needs to the team
  • Ensuring safe and clean working conditions throughout the brewery
  • Collaborating with taproom staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about current beer offerings, including styles, tasting notes, and production details

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced and confident managing the full brewing process independently
  • 19+ and reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Physically capable of lifting 55 lbs to shoulder height and maneuvering full 50L kegs
  • Committed to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and brewing standards
  • Comfortable using brewing software and record keeping tools
  • Flexible with scheduling (some evening or weekend work may be required)
  • Is able to work on their feet for extended periods and climb stairs/ladders safely
  • Holding a valid BC Drivers License (or equivalent)
